The Carplay module is suitable for Volvo vehicles equipped from the factory with a compatible infotainment system. Functions: The original car menu is retained and remains active. All applications available for Android Auto or Apple CarPlay can be used, such as Waze, Google Maps, YouTube Music, Spotify, Skype, WhatsApp, Digi Online, etc. It takes over the controls from the car's steering wheel as well as the joystick, which can still be used for navigation control. If the car is equipped with a rearview camera, it will continue to display on the navigation screen. If not, an aftermarket rearview camera can be easily installed. You can listen to music while using the navigation app, with the app's voice overlaying the music when necessary. The power connector is identical to that of the car, so there is no need to modify the car's electrical system, and you benefit from the same sound quality.
