A few words about the Golf 5 V GTI
The VW Golf V (5) had a short life ..
In 2003 the Golf 5 appeared and replaced the Golf 4. It brought with it some technical optimizations. A composite four-link rear axle was installed for the first time, which promised better handling than its predecessor. Also, all models are now offered as standard with disc brakes. Nevertheless, the Golf 5 fell short of VW expectations.
It accounted for only half of the units produced by its predecessor, which was why VW launched the Golf 6 five years later.
Since 2004, the Golf GTI has re-emerged as an independent model for fan enjoyment. In exchange for the first generations of GTIs he again had a mask with a red frame in the form of a honeycomb (Honeycomb). A 4-cylinder engine with a displacement of 2.0 liters & 200 hp.
