Even when cold, the Yellowstuff brake pad offers excellent deceleration values. As the temperature increases, the "bite" of this sport brake pad becomes noticeably more aggressive, resulting in even better deceleration. The Yellowstuff is used on the street as well as at smaller sports events (e.g. drifting). Due to the "softer" pad compound, Yellowstuff sport brake pads can be quickly bedded in and are very easy to modulate via the pedal. In addition, they are extremely gentle on brake discs compared to other sport brake pads. The EBC Yellowstuff brake pad is now used in various police vehicles and armored limousines around the world. Like all EBC automotive brake pads, all EBC Yellowstuff sport brake pads are equipped with a bedding-in coating, chamfered edges, a heat slot, and a powder coating.
